老挝政府与中民中航集团签署合作协议
Government of Lao PDR and Zhongmin Group Signing Cooperation Agreement

2016年1月26日，中民中航集团董事长刘振新应老挝人民民主共和国中央委员坎平.赛宋平博士（Dr.Khampheng SAYSOMPHENG）的邀请，出席在老挝首都万象举行的合作协议签署仪式。该协议是老挝政府与中民投资集团双方为进一步推进在老挝沙湾拿吉机场建设投资和公路建设投资项目实质性的合作与进展。

Invited by Dr.Khampheng SAYSOMPHENG, Central Committee Member of Lao PDR, Mr. Liu Zhenxin, Chairman of Zhongmin Group attended the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement in Vientiane on Jan. 26. The signing of this agreement is to push forward the investment and progress of construction of Savannakhet Airport and roads in Laos.

      老挝人民民主共和国中央委员坎平.赛宋平博士（Dr.Khampheng SAYSOMPHENG）表示，老挝十分欢迎中国政府提出建设“一带一路”、“海上丝绸之路”等国家战略的倡议，中老两国有着深厚的传统友谊，近年来中老两国进一步丰富和发展两国全面战略合作伙伴关系，在经贸、基础设施建设、教育、人文以及防务安全等各领域合作不断加强。

Dr.Khampheng SAYSOMPHENG, Central Committee Member of Lao PDR stated that the government of Laos is very supportive of “One Belt, One Road”, “Maritime Silk Road” and other national strategies proposed by China. China and Laos share long-lasting and deeply-rooted friendship through history. In recent years, the two countries are strengthening and developing the mutual strategic cooperative partnership, in the areas of business and trade, infrastructure construction, education, culture exchange and national defense.

中民中航集团董事长刘振新表示，围绕我国“一带一路”建设的大战略，中国与东盟的经贸关系更凸显重要性。从地域上看，东盟是“21世纪海上丝绸之路”的关键枢纽，新形势下双方在基础设施建设上都面临着巨大的机遇。中民集团以产业合作为纽带，推进双方在基础建设投资领域的务实合作。

Mr. Liu Zhenxin, Chairman of Zhongmin Group stated that the relation between China and ASEAN is becoming increasingly important due to China’s “One Belt, One Road” strategy. Geographically, ASEAN is the key hub of “21st century Maritime Silk Road” and there will be huge opportunities in infrastructure construction between the two countries. Zhongmin Group strives to use the concept of “industry cooperation” as the link to push forward the bilateral cooperation in infrastructure cooperation.

据悉，本次签署的合作协议内容投资总额约5亿美元，老挝沙湾拿吉机场建设投资和公路建设投资项目预计2016年4月进入设计阶段，2016年下半年正式进入施工实施阶段。
It is known that the total amount of investment will be approximately 500 million USD based on the cooperation agreement, including the construction projects of Savannakhet Airport and roads in Laos, which will be expected to be in design stage in April this year, and will be under construction in the second half of the year.
